February 10, 2011, during my 5-6 o'clock study time...with my 10-year old student Ddahye (daisy).
We were reading the story "How Donkeys Got Long Ears", the story goes like this. Before, animals don't have names on their own and so a man and a woman realized how confusing this situation is. They decided to give them names. They give the Donkey its name. But the donkey always forgets his name. And every time the donkey asked his name to the man or the woman, they would tug its ears. It took a long time for the donkey to remember his name that when that time came, the man and the woman realized how the ears of the donkey grew longer. And that's why they have long ears now. ^__^
Anyway, after a moment of discussion, we started to answer the questions.
Me: Okay daisy, what's your answer for number 2....
(daisy answered it correctly...)
Me: Very good! Now write your answer in your book.
Daisy: Okay teacher....finished..!
Me: Okay now, let's go to number 2....
Daisy: Teacher, number 2 is finished, we are now in number 3...
Me: Oh sorry...I forget!.
Daisy: Hmmm teacher...you're like donkey. Good thing I'm not there to tug your ears..hahahaha!!!
Me: ( speechless for a second... then..)...hahahaha..you're so funny!!^___^
